The CM BatteryStar hoist is an innovative new product built with industry-leading technology from Columbus McKinnon and Milwaukee Tool®. The hoist is powered by a M18™ Red Lithium Battery – the same kind you may already have on your job site. How convenient!
Designed with portability and easy installation in mind, the BatteryStar chain hoist is ideal for any application, especially when external power is unavailable or hard to access. This makes this product perfect for workers in the entertainment or outdoor marquee industries where speedy and efficient installation is crucial and electricity can be hard to reach.
Long gone are the days of wasting time and effort manually operating your hoist; with the BatteryStar, you can simply attach the hoist to an anchor point, slide in a battery and you’re ready to go! The BatteryStar can even be used for inverted operation, just carry the hook up to the anchor point, then let the hoist lift itself along with the load.
We even sell this product with an optional carry case, spare battery and charger, so you’ll never be caught without power when you need it most.
BatteryStar Key Features:
- Available in 6mtr, 12mtr or 18mtr lengths
- Lifting speeds up to 2.4m per minute
- Boosts operator efficiency by up to 4x compared to using a manual hoist
- Supplied M18™ battery is compatible with more than 250 Milwaukee Tool® products
- Can be used for either standard or inverted operation. Inverted operation eliminates the need to carry the hoist up to the anchor point - just carry the hook up to the anchor point, then let the hoist lift itself along with the load.
BatteryStar Safety Features:
- Controlled by a wireless remote to keep the operator out of the load path, allowing for operation from over 20mtr away
- Built-in intelligence that alerts the operator when there is an overload or if an inspection is due
- Electronic clutch and secondary mechanical clutch provide dual protection from hoist overload
