So far so good. I've not tested it to its maximum capacity but i used it to lift an significant weight and all seems to work well. I have reasonable amount of experience of these type of hoists from really old stuff to the more modern and this one works as well as any. It takes the strain well, brakes effectively and releases as it should without running away. The service has been good and so long as it remains reliable I would be happy to recommend this product from this supplier. Many thanks
