SafetyLiftinGear's forklift extensions are designed to temporarily add extra length to your forklift truck, giving you better stability when lifting and moving oversized loads. All of our fork extensions are available to BUY or HIRE as needed.

BEFORE YOU ORDER! Measure your forklift to make sure you order the correct fork extensions. The extensions should not increase the length of the original forks by more than 66% or the width by more than half an inch.

What is the rule for forklift extensions?

When ordering fork extensions for your forklift truck, please follow these guidelines:

The fork extensions must not exceed the starting fork length by more than 66% - for example, if your forks are a metre long (1000mm) then the extensions cannot be longer than 1660mm.
The extensions must not must not increase the fork width by more than half an inch.

We have a selection of different fork lift extensions to choose from, so be sure to order the right ones for your forklift. Over-extending your forks can affect the truck's lifting capacity, and may cause the load to be dropped or the forklift itself to tip over.
